ABOUT US

Recreation PLUS! has grown on a consistent basis since it was established in 1995. The operation began with its founder and 3 recreation staff. In the beginning, we had 30 participants; now there are over 300 registrants for each session. As enrolment has grown, so has our range of programs. Our excellent reputation is based on the high level of satisfaction of our parents and children, innovative course offerings, dedicated staff and sound management.

Recreation PLUS! offers high quality organized before school, lunch-time, after-school, and evening sport programs for girls and boys in elementary schools across the Greater Toronto Area and in York Region. These include Steve Nash Youth Basketball, floor hockey, soccer, and a sports spectacular program. Recreation PLUS! emphasizes balance for our young participants -- the appropriate application of new skills in a variety of settings, building self confidence, understanding principles of teamwork and of course, the fundamental element, having fun. This approach has generated very positive feedback.

The focus of Recreation PLUS! has always been competent staff offering quality programming to diverse groups of young people. We have the background and credibility to deliver.
